Kel lives in California with his wife, two daughters. Kel enjoys sports whether playing or watching. He also enjoys messing with his guitar and cooking for his family. Fun tid-bit- Kel auditioned for a film role in the Historic Famed Ruby Theatre in Hollywood.....Now known as The Complex Hollywood.......and got the job.
Kel has played all kinds of roles from Cowboy to Biker to Sheriff to playing the Devil, working in major films such as Quentin Tarantino's "Django Unchained". He worked very well with Mr. Tarantino so much that he nick named Kel -"Kill" after his mean, tough cowboy character.
Kel has also appeared on the ABC TV show "Suburgatory" with guest star Mae Whitman. Mae as the lead singer and Kel as the guitar player in a hippie, cult band. Directed by the incredibly talented Adam Davidson.
Kel has worked with some talented actors such as Tommy Flanagan, Sharon Stone, Tom Wopat, Stephen Baldwin, Mae Whitman, Don Stroud just to name a few. When Kel is not working, he is participating in acting and writing classes. Kel says "you never stop learning the craft ".
Kel likes doing independent films. He enjoys film festivals. The film 'Cantina' -(Kel played Captain Harris) showed at the Hollyshorts film festival in Hollywood at the Grauman's Chinese Theatre. Film Festivals are a fun, positive event and a great way to see other films and meet talented people. Great way to do some networking.
